Of course. A lot of people forget that all those damsel in distress stories effect little boys very similarly to little girls. It’s all indoctrination to traditional gender roles. The female is weak and helpless, and the male will risk everything for her acceptance. Like most boys and young men, i meant to be someone’s knight in shining armor.
