Have you ever found yourself becoming someone's project?

Because I've never had friends, good genuine friends. I usually just stick with whoever sticks with me. Unfortunately they seem really nice at first. Their might be a few early signs of self centred behaviour but because they are new and don't know me it can sometimes come across as them just introducing themselves to you. But it can very quickly become clear that they have an over inflated opinion of themselves and will go above and beyond to maintain or achieve perfection. With trends, beauty treatments etc etc.
I on the other hand have a very whatever approach. When I'm ready I'll dress up but most days you'll see me and think I'm poor!
But the back handed comments start, followed by the lake behaviour, ie wanting you to be their photographer whilst they're "crap" at taking photos (zooming in too much or cropping your head or blurry pics followed by their boredom despite you taking lots for them...
