I've known that I'm infertile for a very long time, and thus, kids have never been a priority for me. I can barely care for myself and found that with my chronic depression, I commonly find myself not taking care at all.
I know I couldn't care for a child, and don't see why I'd ever want to. Doctors have developed treatment options which make having kids of my own possible, but I'd never want to do that.
The world is awful, and it's only gotten worse for the past 150 years and no matter what anyone does, the people making the world worse will always win. Making the idea of bringing someone else into this horrible, cruel world where nothing good exists a ridiculous idea to me.
My new girlfriend has expressed that she might want kids and might insist that I one day should start those treatment options, but I don't get it. What's the point of having kids? Get real, nobody in the universe has ever, even for one moment, enjoyed caring for kids. Tell me how wonderful it is all you want, you know you're lying to yourself, you hate it, and wish it were legal for you to end their lives on the spot.
Its a choice. Some people want kids, some don’t. Its a huge responsibility and people should think about it very throughly before having them. I don’t see myself having them either. Im not very much interested in kids and i have no patience to be around one 24/7. I can’t do it. I like my alone time and peace and quiet and being able to do whatever i want. So i get it. There are people who have kids because they actually are passionate about them and are willing to dedicate themselves to another life, while other people have kids without thinking due to societal pressure, pressure from family and their spouse.
Okay, first thing. The world has not gotten worse in the past 150 years. Second thing, you should really seek out a good therapist because the thoughts you are expressing are not normal nor healthy.

The world has gotten worse. Overrun with liberals. Indoctrination on kids with LGBTQ. The use of feelings over facts. Men want to be women and women want to be men. The economy is horrible. Everything is expensive from rent to gas to groceries. The cost of living is why the homeless is out of control. California is now giving out free stimulus checks to ILLEGALS. But not to the real citizens of the state. Yes this world has gotten worse. Ur on drugs and probably a liberal too that screams “IM NON BINARY AND IM LESBIAN” girl byeeee
And tbh i agree with him. I think taking care of kids would not be fun. That is our personal opinion. Not everyone wants to dedicate themselves and their entire life, for someone else. I mean, its our life and we wanna live it for ourselves. I could not be a stay at home mom taking care of a baby. I can’t. I don’t want to deal with any stage. I just don’t have the patience or the passion
Actually, a lot of people enjoy caring for kids, that's why they adopt. Those kids aren't even biologically their own, but they still raise them. They aren't paid to adopt those kids; they have to pay to adopt them and go through a pretty strict background check. Obviously, if the kids are yours biologically, there's pretty much a need to raise them, since you created them. Just admit you don't want to raise kids, so you don't see the point of reproducing. My girlfriend and I can't reproduce, but we decided that if we change our mind we'd adopt.
The point of having children is to experience unconditional love, and give unconditional love. To experience the hardest, most rewarding job you will ever have in your entire life.
