I think I did. This was a long time ago before mental illness was a thing. I dated somebody who used to go nuts every few weeks. She would abuse me and I never knew what she was going to do. Most of the time she would be drunk and once she bit me so hard I still have the scar. Most of the time she was really nice. She was abused as a kid.

I am autistic and even I am not as obnoxious as someone with BP. The ones I've met are very abusive and they want to control you and gaslight you for all their problems that they have. Like it's my fault they were pieces of shit. I don't hate them, but I don't want to go anywhere near them. I'd rather date a paranoid schizophrenic.

I did. I really cared for her and when things were good it was like you never noticed but when they were bad Jesus Christ it was tough. It's more so about you and the other person. Nothing else can choose for you. You have to be willing to go above and beyond and realize sometimes they won't recognize it and won't even care, it's hard.

No! im sorry but I have tried to have friendly relationships with bi-polar people and its just to exhausting and difficult especially the ones that refuse to take their meds! they stop taking them because they think their better and boom they have an episode! nope! i steer clear
