BONUS! For sure no doubts about it, I had women promise to make cakes and things. Like my birthday is in August and tell me in June for your birthday I am going to make a cake. My birthday comes and go and sure they bought me a gift and we did something for my birthday... but there was no cake. Points lost... I never said anything though but I haven't forgot either.

The last one was that my girlfriend promised to make me banana bread. So I bought the bananas and let them sit, comes one weekend and she says they are still too green. Comes the next week and says they are to bad rotten now. So I am thinking okay, at some point she will make some banana bread and surprise me with it some time. 3 months later no banana bread.

Thing is I never asked them to bake anything they offered it... but they never did, so why even say you would then don't. Men remember that shit, they may never mention it to you , but they don't forget either.

I would say that it would be appropriate after 6 or 8 hours of communication, or about a week or two after your first date.

I'm assuming that your first date went well, and you guys are regularly texting, right? The only way it could be considered creepy is if it didn't go great, and you kind want to use the cake to sort of win him over.

We haven’t had a first date yet (a family member of mine had emergency surgery last weekend and he’s out of town this weekend) so it’s scheduled for next week. But we been texting nearly every hour for over two weeks. I live alone he doesn’t. We also have different schedules so we have talked about him staying some at my place some on the weekends if all goes well. I’m in college with a crazy schedule. I get up early to study and he likes to sleep in. I was thinking would it be creepy if I made him a treat if he was staying over. (I’m very basic on cooking but everyone says I make fantastic desserts) I thought it might be sweet but didn’t want to come off too strong.

Miracles don't happen in my life especially 2 of them, but hypothetically speaking if this did ever somehow happen in my life, first thing I'd be thinking is did she cheat, but if she didn't, yes it would be a plus for her in my mind. An I know people would think I am being insecure by wondering if she cheated, I guarantee if you saw my face, you'd agree that there's no way a guy like me could ever find someone and if I did, she probably would cheat constantly.
