Do most guys realize they put money first just like they claim girls do?

A lot of men no longer want to date or marry because they feel the woman only wants them for their money. But what about the men who prioritize money over everything… love, family, ethics, etc. Money hungry people in general scare me. Men should not date women who have shown that they are only after money. Women should not date men who are more focused on making money. Everyone should prepare themselves financially before entering into this and that, but don’t forget what’s more important at the end of the day. My heart goes out to the good men and women who truly are about more than just stuffing their pockets

I don't think it is quite like that. I like a lot of men don't give a rats about what girl earns and like being the provider. I expect to be valued for that. So far nothing wrong for me.

What I won't accept though is a girl the trying to drive expenditure. One girl not only spent all she earn't in a fortnight but then tried to spend all I earn't. Not happening Baby. That is what I consider to be somewhat money hungry but you are a fool if you let them.

Male resentment is mostly about women marrying you then cashing you out after 8 years so they get a free house etc. That is truly gold digging and I don't see many woman saying well I only contributed 30% to our combined income and I spent 20% points of that on clothing and shoes. So I'll have just 10% of our assets in the divorce.

Good point on prenup agreements but a lot of people have internal resistance to marrying someone with a document that assumes it fails. Why marry them if you are anticipating divorce?

Also you can find courts will regard you as married even when you haven't married them. It can be that other people regard you as a couple is enough for a court to take the view that you are married.

You are right on a breakup a lot of women just leave with their assets but I also know their girlfriends to tell them to go after his assets

My girlfriend was unemployed and I was in college when we met. Now she's under employed and I am trying to get certified gr a new job. Money is definitely not a concern for us in regards to one another.

The reason why guys feel that woman only want their money is mainly because of dating apps and dating online.

I can see through it luckely but it's really unbelievable and annoying how many girls ask me for money on a daily base or ask me to sign up on some fishy website to pay them for a nude lifestream or nude pictures of them. It's frustrating and this can give guys the idea most woman are only chasing money which ofcourse isn't true at all

But online dating ruins the connection woman and men used to have in the past. It simply seperates us more these days

i think i am a good man, not my place to determine that beyond going off what others say and show about me. a part of why some guys are money hungry now is partly due to so many women caring more about his money (he has to have money to get any type of love) . am a guy who dont care about money like that though, but then again i also dont date/do anything dealing with romance anymore. i found my peace of mind is not worth the hassles of partnering up. no sex is worth the trouble either.

Men focus on MAKING money
Women focus on MEN'S money

This factor is why men are mostly conservative/republican and why women mostly are liberal/democrat because they are shared behaviour with each establishment
