Psychology tip: human behavior says that people's favorite thing to talk about is themselves. Both men and women.
Ask her simple questions about her that will help you get to know where she comes from and who she is. .. but make sure you're willing to answer the same questions. That way conversation will flow between the two of you.
So, If you already know what you guys do for work, then ask her if she has any siblings and if she says yes you guys can discuss how many, which number is she, brother/sisters, does she have a good relationship with them etc and then you answer the same question.
Ask her if she's close with her parents. And then you answer too
Offer up something about you.. like your favorite thing to do when the weather is your favorite.. (ie; when it's cloudy and cold outside, I love to go sit by the lake and watch the planes fly over head (airport is less than 10 miles away), the birds flying in the sky, and feed the ducks. And when I'm lucky, the orchestra is practicing with the theater open so I can listen to the beautiful cello.) And then ask her what's hers..
If you ask her questions like that and answer them about yourself also, she'll start asking you the same kind of questions too. So you'll both be getting past the butterflies in the belly at the same place ,🤓
Then it's genuine conversation and you'll be closer to being able to decide if it will be a waste of time or a ruined friendship, what ever the case may be.
Just remember that you are just as much interviewing her as she is interviewing you.
That’ll make me more nervous tho

First of all, I want to get comfortable getting to know the other person first online before meeting them in person. I just don’t meet up. So by the time you finally meet eye to eye, there’s somewhat a familiarity to break the ice
Tell animal jokes…I’ll give you one of my 3 sure to get her to laugh, sigh happy, think he makes me laugh, and lathered up. You have to adlive a little… “My dog is killing me with the heat rashes, scratching, and all that.. finally went to University Vet Center for help…And as I opened the door to go inside I noticed a caged bird squawking at a cat perched underneath it.
When I went in I heard someone talking and it was the bird and cat talking. I stopped in amazement and the bird looked at me and said, “pardon me if I litter”.
A little bit of awkwardness in the very beginning of the very first date is no big deal, but if there's awkwardness for the "first few dates" there's something not quite right. The point of a first date is to see if the chemistry is right between the two of you. In the course of the first date (ideally though of course from the beginning) you should both feel comfortable with each other. If it's still awkward when you part ways after the first date, something is wrong. Either the chemistry between the two of you is not matching, or it's just you and you're just really bad at dating.
As someone else pointed out yesterday, imagine all the imperfections about the other person, physical or otherwise, in order to bring them down to Earth. Or picture them on the toilet taking a giant stinky poop, using the nearby towel to wipe their face cause they're sweating so much from it. That'll bring them back to reality for you.
I usually do the first date at a coffee house or bar, depending on the time of day. Then I have something to "do" (drink). It's best, I've found, to have the first couple dates around lunch so it gives you an opportunity to escape without being obvious that you want to get out of there.
Just pretend she’s a friend that you don’t expect anything from, let the convo flow organically young Jedi
If there is awkwardness, I personally don't pursue dating lol
Oh but I would say be yourself and don't overthink stuff, also it can help to just be vocal and say when you're nervous and maybe she feels the same and you both can laugh and ease the moment
You just push through it the best you can until you get more comfortable with each other
We are already friends before we start dating, so the awkwardness was ironed away during the process of becoming friends. Plus I never enter a friendship expecting to date the person.
Your awkwardsness will probably show you red flags more quicker. Anyone who is not ready to give you time to get comfortable/ doesn't allow you to be your clumsy - at times cringey self, is not at all worth it.
Just have fun. If it clicks romantically, fine. If not, that is fine, too. People pressure themselves too much.
It’s always awkward but I can usually keep a conversation flowing so that kind of gets rid of the awkwardness
Be yourself.
No way you'll be able to disguise it later, so may as well get it out into the open now.
Think of a lot of questions you can ask her, that aren't personal in nature. And respond to each one, but don't make it all about you.
Blow a huge fart. Always starts the giggles.
When in doubt whip it out
Staring at their tits usually helps.
dont be awkward
it's simple
Let's get high first 😂😂 🥇
