How long did you date before you became exclusive in a relationship?

Meeting friends and family comes a while after exclusivity for me.

But it's about a month or so where exclusivity happens for me. Sometimes I may be acting exclusive and choose not to see other people (sometimes not) but I won't make it exclusive officially before about a month. That's not boyfriend and girlfriend yet though.

I'm grown with a life, friends, personal projects, and a career, so probably will be going on dates once a week at the beginning and then more often after that. So a month is usually 4 dates minimum if we're into it and scheduling or holidays aren't interfering

I met my wife where I always went for vacation. We had never met before but I knew her grandparents my whole life and she knew my aunt and uncle so we already knew a few family members. When we first started dating we both were coming out of long term relationships and did not want to really find another one but once we really got to know each other neither one of us were interested in anyone else.

Usually right away. If I dated someone, I wouldn't date anyone else. And the girls I was dating weren't the kind to have multiple friends with benefits or to continue searching for other guys while we were together. If they did, I'd be gone. I believe in infatuation and exclusivity.

It took about a few months before we became exclusive but we had also not been on a date until that point even though we tried because family matters kept him at home or something popped up suddenly due to his mom not feeling well…
