Have you ever asked out a friend unsure of what would happen and it went well?

I went out with a friend and we had the best night ever, her words. But I'm not sure where we stand as friends or heading into more

We ended up at her apartment, as friends, and she even asked me to sit on her bed, Unsure of where we are I didn't do anything. We still talk and see each other on most days but I really want to ask her out on a date

Sometimes she's very chummy and chatty, other times she just walks past me. Makes me overthink. I really gotta work on my confidence

I told her today if she wanted to get lunch together after work and she said oh sure!

Then an hour later says if we can move it to Sunday since work has been very stressful today. Not sure why Sunday and not Saturday but whatever. I could tell she was stressed from work before asking her for what it's worth, and I tried to reassure that she was doing a kickass job and she was happy about that.

It certainly wasn't weird as we have a good rapport, but it still sucks to hear that she changed it for later. We still joked around a bit after that

I'll text her details today or tomorrow (what's better?) and see what happens but if she cancels again I have my answer I guess

Ball's in her court. If it happens, I'll let her know I want to take her out on a real date and try some touching. Depending on her reaction say when she's ready, or just point blank. And hopefully discuss what happened that night cause I'm still so clueless about it
