We dated for 1.5 years before he moved for work. He wasn’t ready for commitment so we paused the relationship. After 4 months of no contact he is messaging me about his achievements and issues at work, health problems, tells me what he made for dinner etc.. he even messaged me once when he woke up in the middle of the night at 4am.
