Since 2020 I started talking and chatting with this 41 year old man who is from and living in Wisconsin & I have been from an living in Illinois. which he would like to come stay over a weekend. We have video chatted and I felt a little nervous but like butterflies but he did not make me feel at all red flags. He has even said that he wants to make sure I am okay with anything. He does understand about my mother and old ways. So he said He will be happy to meet my mother. Since my father had passed away from cancer in March 2017. He wants to let my mother know he is willing to keep me safe and love me with unconditional love. He Actually has hints to me about him marrying me , asking would I like to go looking at rings when he gets his new vehicle later in a few weeks.. and has been talking about children today.

What about children? What about retirement? What about cleaning after once he's no longer the charming old fella straight out of 21+ novel, what then? Age gap relationships aren't wrong, in my opinion. But people need to answer these few questions before getting into them.

It sounds good, I am nervous about long distance situations in general, but I am not seeing any red flags in what you described, I don't think the age difference is a problem but that is JMO.

If you love each other it can work. I know several couples in long term relationships with similar age gaps.
