Why would my guy tell another girl about my insecurities?

So my boyfriend got an apartment maybe like 7 months ago. He said his landlord some chatty old girl that never shuts up when he sees her once a month to pay his rent. Anyway he went away last month so i was the one who had to meet up with her to pay it for him.. she ain't old and wasn't chatty with me at all but all is good, whatever.

But then he just met her outfront of my place to pay it this month and i guess she said something about me and he started laughing and said "awh thanks, ya thats my chunky monkey" (thats what he calls me, its cute, i like it) but then he went on telling her that im insecure and struggle sometimes with my self esteem so i'll be happy to hear whatever she said to him. He came in and never mentioned a damn thing to me? And now im pissed.

Like first off why are telling some girl you've seen 6 times my business for? Guess more of a rant then a question, but like gheez, I just dont get it, what was the friggin point of telling her? Why not just leave it the awh thanks.🤦🏻‍♀️

Right!! I thought so but wasn't sure if im just being, well... insecure.. 🙈 lol
But there is no relationship. That i know of anyway, he sees her once a month to pay rent and they chat for maybe half an hour or so each time

I happened to walk past the door at the, thats my chunky monkey part, so i may have stayed to listen for a couple minutes.

Gotcha... that TMI for a landlord. This does not set right with me in some kind of way. Can't put my finger on it though.
