I don’t know how to help my boyfriend with his insecurities. He doesn’t feel good enough for me. He’s been really depressed and down when normally he’s energetic and happy. He expressed that he feels that he can’t provide for me or make me happy and I tried to explain that I don’t need his $$ and that I am with him because I love who he is and how he treats me, not for what he has.. it just feel like he believes that and has been quite distant. What can I do to help him/us?

It's his issue, not yours. Sounds like you've been telling him otherwise (how you feel about him), but he just isn't accepting it. Maybe try writing it down in a letter. Give your heart to him, give him lots of compliments. Be very specific, not vague. Make it at least a couple of pages. Seal it in an envelope, sign it, all that. He needs to really absorb it, and texting and words sitting next to him on the sofa may not be enough.

Beyond that, he needs your patience. But you don't have to spend the rest of your days trying to convince him. There comes a point when some people are a bottomless well. I see it here on gag a lot. You support them, are very kind to them, and they show no appreciation, no interaction, except to double down on their self-pity and bitterness. Hopefully your boyfriend is not one of them.
