Sexting is nothing else than emotional cheating. You can look at it the way you want it but a partner that is sexting with other people while in a relation is actively looking for something outside of the relation.

By definition, sexting is

"sending, receiving, or forwarding sexually explicit messages, photographs, or videos, primarily between mobile phones. It may also include the use of a computer or any digital device".

In other terms, your boyfriend is sexually interested in other persons and I interpret it as an attempt to seek other sexual pleasures that he cannot find with you. That is a very toxic behavior and that signifies also that your relation is in danger.

Personally, I would not accept his behavior and my reaction would be to sever this toxic relationship. You owe it to yourself.
