We watched a movie then we went to my place. I still have my ex stuff in my place since my ex needs to find her own place before coming over and take her stuff. The new girl saw the stuff and she got upset. She didn't say anything but her body language changed. At the end of night she told me you talk too much about your ex. I really like you as a person but we can't have a relationship with you. I tried to text her but she didn't reply. I texted her let's stay friends. She replied thst she will be very happy staying friends. We kept texting. I called her sister in my last message and mentioned to her that I removed her my ex stuff and now I can bring other girls to my place without worrying. I was trying to get a reaction off her. She didn't reply. The next day I texted her " hey bae I need your opinion. what do you think is better shoes? She replied instantly and seems eager to talk. What should I do next and is there still hope?

Take it slow. She implied to you that it is a turn off that you are just willing to jump into something new while you are still dwelling on your ex. She probably feels a bit like she was a rebound to your situation. Take her on some dates, but be causal about it. Let her open back up to you.
