There is a guy that shows so many signs of interests toward me : flirting, complimenting me , winking a lot , smiling a lot, touching my arm, learning toward me, staring when I’m not looking or look at me deep in the eyes, asking personal questions about me, and he would also mention that he’s not married yet and doesn’t have any kids yet, and would make weird remarks like how he’s not with his ex anymore, and tell me shares very deep conversations about his family with me. He also seem more nervous around me, and he’s always super nice and courteous. however the guy is super outgoing so I was never too sure if he’s just been nice
a few days ago , i wanted to test if he’s really interested. While we were talking, I told him that there was something I really wanted to tell him but I wasn’t sure how to approach him. He tells me not to worry about it and whenever I’m ready, he’s here to listen to me. And winks again lol.
So I decided to tell him that I find him really handsome.
He told me « awww that’s cute , thank you »
I found his response a bit strange ( I was more expecting something like thank you , you too ) , but I realized also that I probably suprised him with this compliment.
today, again at the cafeteria. And it seems like this time he decided to eat at the same time as me ( he started doing this more frequently ). Moreover, he decided to sit really close to me in the same table. So clearly, calling him handsome made him feel good lol.
unfortunately we couldn’t say much because his colleagues are always around. But I just wonder why is he slow like this? Is it normal that he haven’t asked me out yet?
