What takes him so long?

I marched with a co worker on a dating app which took him probably two weeks to match back with me. I have only seen him a couple times at work by passing in the hallways. So he barely knows who I am. We have been talking on the dating site since October 28th.
He will go a a day or two not messaging me back on the dating site. Is that normal when your trying to get to know someone? Last weekend he asked me if I would meet him for coffee this Saturday morning and I said sure. He messages me Tuesday night talking about some things and said he is excited to see me Saturday morning. I messaged him back saying I was excited as well. Not heard from him yet. Today will be two days. He usually doesn’t go this long. He has no kids so I know he isn’t all that busy. I am wondering if he is nervous or has other women he may be talking with. I would think if your meeting someone you would be communicating daily. 🤷🏼‍♀️
