All my life I've never really had relationships. Only two. One that lasted 3 months in High School and my most recent that lasted 7 months.
It seems like people just see somebody they find attractive and then get with them before getting to really know the person on a deeper level? And then their relationships seem very surface-level or shallow and they just get with someone else quickly afterward? I truly can't wrap my head around this.
I do believe that I'm Demisexual/Demiromantic in some form because I just can't see myself wanting to actually be with someone just because I find them attractive. And whenever I try to date, people say I'm moving too slowly or I'm too reserved.
So for all of you, what makes you actually decide to be in a relationship with someone? And how serious are you about that person then?

I actually get to know them first... which does not take that long actually, however in my case... we would meet almost daily or several times within the same week and always in person
very often I hear at this site, that people actually text every third day or so, and then plan to meet every two weeks or so... I cannot honestly relate to that, lol
only if the other person is actually interested and intrigued on hanging out as much as possible, I do get to know this person and put the dedication onto that, if they are fine with going a full week without "contact" then we're just not into the same things, lol
The chemistry has to be right.
When you say chemistry, what do you mean by this? Cause can't you have chemistry with just a friend? Or is their the actual physical and sexual attraction that's the main driving factor behind the "chemistry"
Nothing. I’ll never do that again.
