Isn't it a red flag when a man claiming he is a Christian has girls as friends? I dont think men and women can be friends when they're attractive?

I have a good number of female friends. Some are attractive. I don't really care if a girl is attractive or not when determining whether or not to be friends with them. I'm not a Christian, but plenty of people I know make the same decisions regarding friends. If you have shared interests, you are friends. You want to do things that you like and it's easier to do them as a group. My sister had a good friend who went to Panera with her every single day after school. They never dated each other, nor had any interest in doing so. Apparently, my sister is attractive (at least she doesn't have problems getting guys).

I don’t think being Christian and having friends of the opposite sex are mutually exclusive. I would probably argue men and women in general can be friends, but probably in more of a friends group setting. I personally don’t really have a lot of interests and things in common with women to substantiate anything more than that, so it’s difficult for me to understand the basis of strictly platonic but close personal friendships.
