What can I do to get confused about height if a guy is short or tall?

I can get a little confused about guys' height and what is short versus what is tall for men. According to the internet, the average height for men in England is 5 ft 9 in. I don't like guys or am not attracted to very tall men. I don't want the guy to be too tall if we're trying to have a relationship. I'm just a bit shorter than the average female (5ft 3in). I think 5ft in height. I prefer guys who are shorter than me or of average height. While dating, I wasn't sure which classes were shorter and which were tall, but I didn't want to date tall men. I didn't want a date or a relationship. In the meantime, I will keep searching to see if I can find a shorter guy or an average height guy.

It's simple:

Tall is good on a man.
Not-tall (short, or what you refer to as "average") is very bad on a man!

Tall for most Western men (except for The Dutch, I guess) is usually considered to be a minimum of 6'1"/185 cm, barefoot.

Not-tall (or "short;" they basically mean the same thing) would be 5'11"/182 cm barefoot, or less. That is considered not good/unacceptable/the Failure Zone, for adult men.

While height is 100% subjective and opinionated, this is what the majority of Western people think. Especially straight women, who 96% of, want nothing to do with a non-tall man.

Refer to these charts for the public opinion of what is "tall enough/too short" by the majority of Western society.

How most Western people (especially women) judge male height.

If you don't want a tall guy, and only want to date not-tall (short and "average") men, then any man 5'11"/182 cm or less, would be diminutive enough for you, as none of those men would ever be considered "tall" (aka "good enough") for the majority of Western women or society at large.

Nobody likes mediocrity or worthlessness... Except you, I guess. You're part of the 4% of women who accepts tiny (not-tall) men. Good for you!

And in case you're curious, most men where I am from in the US were 6'0"/183 cm barefoot, and most women were 5'6"/167 cm barefoot and without heels. The women were still kinda short, while the men were the medium height. I am one inch/3 cm below that, so was always considered not-tall (short) where I'm from, and almost no women wanted anything to do with me, considering I'm the same height as them when they're in heels. It SUCKED.

I can only find tall men and never short men. I am from England. I must be more attractive to short men than any tall men. I don't see them as relationship material. Just have friends. I also rejected a lot of tall men. I also don't like when men talk about height online dating. I can only date men with a learning disability.

Tall men, 6'1" and up, tend to like short women, 5'6" and under, the most, cause both of them see "tallness as masculine and shortness as feminine," while of course, short men and tall women are far less likely to think that way. This is why tall men like short women more.

You must be the opposite of most women then, cause I assure you, MOST straight women see non-tall men as disgusting/a turn-off, if not an outright dealbreaker. I'm not-tall (aka short) myself, but I prefer tall girls BECAUSE of it. Like another user said, your dream man might be @bigpauly on here. I think he's like 4'7"/4'8", which is even shorter than me! (By 14-15 inches, I believe.)

I know this topic is one of your top hot buttons, but I have to question something. I am 5'10 and have never in my life been labeled 'short' by anyone (that I'm aware of) I may cross paths with females that are near my height, or maybe slightly taller once in a while. But I have always been comfortable with my height. Example: I work at a facility that has @500 employees, and I can think of 2 women that are taller than me, and they are both 5'11.

I honestly don't care. And I was contemplating turning off replies, because there's always that one contrarian that likes to go, "Well, I'm 5'2 and had 500 women before." Yeah, exceptions exist and some people don't care about being short. I wasn't talking about the exceptions or those who don't worry about how short they are.

80% of people in society are not-tall (short; useless; undesirable.) Only 20% are so lucky. Women, as well as men, tend to want the attractive and special, not the common and valueless, among human traits. Like I said, you're probably the opposite of most women, so you seem to desire traditionally-negative traits in men. Which means, you should have no problem finding men who are under six feet tall, or not intelligent or mentally exceptional. You shouldn't have any issues with the fourth-fifths of men out there like that.

MOST of them! Hell, if you asked guys on GAG to PM you, and specifically said no men 6'0" and over, then I'm sure your Inbox would be flooded just from that alone. You're a 24 year old girl specifically searching for single men UNDER six feet tall; should be easier than finding human feces in San Francisco.

British men are pretty short. Most are like 5'9"/5'10" (178 cm). Shouldn't be hard to find any, out there. Just go on dating apps and say "no men six feet or taller." Or say "Only men 5'11 and under; I'm only looking to date short men." Shouldn't be very hard to at least try it.

Being taller is a masculine trait, so preferring a guy shorter than you is not normal.

That problem I can only find tall men so far. I also have to be rejected by guys that were taller than me. Did date and had relationships with a short guy and one average throughout college.

I am not sure what you mean about being confused about what is tall or short for a guy.

if you are 5ft and interested in dating guys even shorter than you, they are very rare but there are some out there. @bigpauly is a male user here who is quite a bit shorter than you.

As for average height, that depends on where you are. Average where I am live is about 5’9. There are plenty of guys around that height.

I kept getting guys that are taller then. I don't want to date men that are for me. Would you prefer to be with short men or average men? I kept finding tall men that I don't want. It honestly confuses me too, I rarely see any guy who is extremely tall in real life but I always see women on the internet saying "must be 6'1+".

personally I just consider anyone who's visibly taller than me (3 or 4"+) to be tall and anyone taller than the average height to be extremely tall (in the us, I think that's 5'10 or 5'9).
