You can’t make everyone like you. Whether it’s romantic or even someone you just want to make like you.
Why waste your time on women or men who aren’t even into you…. Why try to change who you are for someone who doesn’t accept you for who you are? And probably won’t like you no matter what you do.
I thought this question was "Why waste your time on people who aren't just like you?"
I had typed this: 'So you won't be stuck in an Echo Chamber and have a very limited view of the world. This is what so many on the Progressive Left seem to do on social media nowadays.'

Okay, I agree. Don't waste time of potential love interests who don't want to have anything to do with you.
You can't make someone like you fall in love with you or show interesting you if they're not showing any interest in you it's time to move on and find someone that does show interest in you.
I’m too happy to chase a guy that doesn’t like me. Life is not 800 years so chasing does not make sense. That is precious hiking and dining hours.
I think we can in a way.. but should not.

I don't.
Trying to change yourself for others just results in misery.
Self awareness is kinda rare. I don’t think many know “who” aren’t into them. Or they think this person “should” be into them.
Are they never going to be into you? They may not know you well enough to be sure. They also might not be into you at that moment.
I never do.
Maybe desperation and fear of being alone. What does one do when no one is into you?
