Why are men said to be more visual but have lower standards for looks while women are said to be less visual but have higher standards for looks?

Men are more visual and tend to focus on beauty first, whereas, women look at the whole picture. This includes features, personality, ability to lead both spiritually and financially. Those are higher standards and expectations. It is not about the looks nearly as much as men are CHOOSE or are led to believe.

It is much more likely that you strike out in the other areas. Ugly ass MIT guys I know have gorgeous wives and girlfriends etc...
