Why does my girlfriend constantly want to stay with people when she tells peoples she’s settling?

If she told someone that she's "Settling with you" as in you aren't what she really wants, but she quit trying and you'll do I guess, then that's pretty fucked up. She's got some explaining to do in my opinion.

Either she loves you, or she's just using you to get married and have a baby because the biological clock is ticking and she wants to reach those milestones.

Basically she's an asshole for saying that.

Why are you entertaining that behavior if she’s setting standards too high for you talk to her about it and if she can’t compromise put your foot down and find a woman who is worth your time and love
