If a guy cannot tolerate rejection, is there a risk of him being violent in his relationships?

I think God has protected me from multiple psychopaths who wanted to date me. I am wiser now but as a teenager I was naive and vulnerable and did not have the sense to test people before trusting them, more than once I came close to crossing paths with abusers who tortured and killed but God protected me. One guy got deported and banned from citizenship after impersonating me to 600 people and on my my email list. Another guy wanted me to die of cancer because I refused to date him after he gave me rides home from church, he usually charged $25.00 for 20 mile rides but did not charge me because he thought I would date him and got angry at me for wasting his gas money when I did not date him so he told people he wanted me to die of cancer and he was angry I did not become mentally challenged.

There is probably more to becoming (physically) violent, but learning how to take rejection is an important part of growing up. The children where parents failed to teach them are often later in life seen on COPS or other similar formats.
