My close girl friend is dating a guy I’m talking to’s God brother. The guy I’m talking to already knew my friend before I met him and I met him through her. She’s going to have a baby and get engaged and the guy I’m talking to said he’s happy for them and that my friend was raised right and that her parents should be proud. I felt some type of way about that because I haven’t heard him say that about me and he’s mainly saying that about her, not even his God brother and of course I know my friend is a great person but I don’t know I felt kinda weird. Am I overthinking or do I have valid points?

She is a decent girl.
But is it wrong for me to feel annoyed that he said that about her to me?
I don’t know his Standards but from what I gathered they are not high. Annoyed would not be my response. “Damn, who raised you if you think that’s a high morality example of good raising.”
If he was in my guy friend group he would get laughed out of it.
hmm yeah that does make sense lol. like yeah my friend is a good person but for me it’s like what about her makes you say that, it was giving me too friendly vibes if that makes sense, it’s like you could just say you’re proud of both of them and leave it as that but then going the extra mile to say her parents done a good job with her felt extra to me but I of course didn’t want to come across as jealous because that’s not the case
Yeah, i would let it go but I get exactly what you are saying... and think you are right.
Overthinking what? We don't even know what you're thinking.
What's so hard to understand about "she was raised right" it's pretty self explanatory.
