I don't think this is just western society. It exists everywhere and yes, it is a problem for sure. I am not sure how you are linking divorce and loss of family values to over sexualization. What has one got to do with the other? Because guys sexualize women, you are suggesting they do not have family values?

I don't like being sexualized. At all. It is an icky feeling and I know darn well when it is happening, which makes it all the more cringy. This is a guy's thing though. Most girls do not act that way.

So, whose fault is it really that women are sexualized do you think? It is the guys that cannot keep from doing it that is the problem. Is it all guys? No. There are plenty of good guys out there that do not do this. Those are the types of guys that end up with the nice girls because they respect them instead of look at them like a piece of meat.

It’s the cause for so many divorces today. The guy gets exposed to sexual images like this, wants to look up pornography, and then gets addicted to it, and thus severely hurts their wife and ruins their intimacy. It happens SO, MUCH. I was lucky enough to never be exposed to pornography (at least not for more than half a second), so I never struggled at that level, but I did struggle with perversion for about 3 years. God set me free at last, and I feel like a different person. Sexualizing women objectifies them and helps encore the idea that all women are good for is pleasure, which I despise with a burning passion. Women are precious and are good for comforting, supporting, uplifting, loving, and so much more, and do not deserve for their delicate feelings to be shattered by perversion like what so often happens because of this.

Of course. It makes it very hard to find a decent pure wife and get married. Not to mention, it's more likely to cause divorce, due to infidelity.

But men need to take responsibility equally. The more girls you and your friends go with, the less decent girls they'll be for you in the future when it's time to settle and get married. Plus girls will see this example and think if ''guys are doing it, we can too.''

Where as if guys show restraint, and look down up these type of girls, many girls will be shamed into not slutting around.

I agree but society is the main culprit, imagine a young girl signing up on Instagram and seeing how all the popular most followed girls are very promiscuous looking. It’s going to have a big influence on her.

The bullshit people see on social media sites has a very strong influence on how we behave and interact I wouldn’t expect an oldie to understand. You’re giving extreme examples. I’m saying there should be a middle ground. A society with free will with a respect for family values and not taking away rights.

People are incredibly influenced by social media. Women that do OF, some have millions of followers on insta and get ‘respect’ for it, so women think it’s okay. You won’t understand

So how do you fix it or you just bitch about it? Anyone can say what you are saying. Do we ban all social media to keep your so called family values in place? You call it extreme but you aren't giving any solutions you're just saying I am too old to understand. I understand what you are bitching about but not hearing anything to solve it?

How can a single person come up with the solution. We should collectively take responsibility. It’s such a complex world problem with young people now. The problem is in all the algorithms that show us all this shit. That is a very hard answer to come up with, we have to accept social media is here to stay but collectively work on the problem. I also think countries should encourage young people to limit social media use and educate youngsters on good values for men and women. Educate people that social media is a false reality of people and the world and that it is attempting to influence and control you to an extent and making it addictive. Social media is like a porn version of life, a false reality.

I don't disagree but technology is here to stay and it's only going to get worse with A. I. All we can do is navigate the world in which we live TODAY and find others who value what we value. You might see them as mistakes for what you believe but others will see it as progress for what they believe. Not everyone believes in family values nor should they be made too.

True. But do not forget that our societies are failing my every metric. Happiness, new marriages, birth rate, divorce. I read something that in 2030, 50%+ of the next generation of youngsters will never own their own home.
I think there will be another Great Depression one day, it’s hard to look at the future and not get depressed for the world. I’m working hard so I don’t end up in the traps society set up for us.

Another thing is that you can’t predict anything. We could’ve never predicted things like Instagram live how you can just whip out your phone and millions of people can tune in live with high definition. Impossible to predict anything.
