Female hypergamy is essentially boils down to women will only see you as a potential mate if they perceive you are better than them.

It's one of the reasons assholes do better than nice guys in getting women and not all the feminist propaganda that nice guys aren't really nice but because assholes disrespect and don't care about a girls opinion which sets off in the woman's brain that he must be better than her.

To expand on this point, if done to early on and without the woman thinking she earned it is perceives by her as a male pandering up to her to get sex/relationship and not actual kindness. Women only usually perceive kind gestures as just that once they've given up sex and the man still continues being sweet/kind to them.

Now the thing about hyper gamy with women is it's not tied only to one thing like physical or wealth but everything including attitude. A man does not necessarily need to tick off being better in all areas but enough that it is drilled into a woman's psyche that he is better than her. It's for this reason a guy can be shorter than a girl but rich, and confident and get the girl.

We see hypergamy of women in their dating preference such as wanting men who make more money than them, be taller than them, higher social status, more confident, more accomplished than her, more exciting live etc.

The problem with hypergamy is as a woman rises up in the world and become better the amount of men who matches her criteria of being on her level or more becomes smaller and smaller. This leads to fewer pool of men available for her to select making it frustrating. With more women graduating from college than men this means that the dating pool for college graduate women are going to be smaller.

The other bad side of hyper gamy is that many women overshoot on the man they can get and usually get played as sex toys by attractive and/or rich men. This is partly responsible for the rise in single mothers we see now today.

The problem with this is that their isn't much of a burden in the past because we now have to support these single mothers via taxes. It's also been show single parent households are associated with rise in crime, poverty.

Little kids want attention. My son can’t wait for me to get home from work so that he can tell me about his day and so that we can spend time playing together. As we get older, we come to recognize that we are not the center of the universe so we don’t mind if we are not the sole focus.
Well, at least some of us grow up. Lots of modern women never mature emotionally. They remain stuck in the phase where they are constantly struggling for attention. Women seek attention everywhere but it is most evident on social media. This takes many forms. It could be inappropriate photos, trying to puff up their lifestyle, or preaching on the latest leftwing (always leftwing) issue of the day.
In children, attention seeking can be endearing at times, but it is generally annoying. In grown women, it is always obnoxious.
Children need to be taught that sometimes they can’t have it all. If I go to buy my three-year-old a toy car, he understands that he can only select one of them. It seems that young women were never taught this basic truth. The body positivity movement is one example. Everyone should know that if you overeat and avoid exercise, you will become an unattractive, unhealthy hambeast. Yet the body positive movement tells women that they are just as beautiful and healthy as fit women. And women believe it!
It’s the same with “having it all” when it comes to work and life. Modern women have been indoctrinated to believe that they can work 10-hour days while climbing the corporate ladder while still having strong marriages and healthy children. The hard truth is that the first five years of a child’s development are crucial and that expensive daycare institution that calls itself a school can’t take the place of a dedicated mother.

Some women might be into "hypergamy" but the notion that all women want a guy who is richer and better than her is downright BS. My boyfriend is going to earn FAR less than me someday and I'm completely fine with that as he is doing what he loves and is passionate about. I have no problem being the breadwinner and main source of income. None of the reasons you provided cut it for me in terms of what attracted me to my boyfriend or any of my ex's for that matter. What attracted me to them is our level of compatibility and the way they treated me. You'll always get people who are attracted to bad people - guys and girls. I see it daily on this website; guys obsessing over blatantly "asshole" girls who give them no attention and yet they still want them. Fuck, a friend of my boyfriend's girlfriend CHEATED On him and he still wants her back and is continuing their relationship. All this shit about girls dating assholes need to stop. Take a good look at many people who are in happy relationships and you'll see that SOME are in toxic relationships while others are in perfectly balanced relationships where there's none of this "asshole" guy that you speak of. It's all about knit picking and what examples you choose to look at. And as I said; it's delusional if men want to believe that they themselves don't fall for the "bad girl" too at times.

As for whether hypergamy is "bad" ? No. There will always be nice girls and nice guys. And as much as guys don't want to believe this; many people ARE in relationships with nice guys and girls. The percentage of people who are actually blatantly with someone for their money are far less.

This isn't male MGTOW but actual reality. We are looking at women's actions and behavior and not what words come out of their mouth. Overall, women still maintain their standards and hypergamy nature in our society and our society encourages them to act on it without thinking of the consequences.

Statistics show women still marry up when it comes to men. The vast majority of women still only consider wanting to date/sleep with men who are taller than them. Overall hypergamy is a reality. It's The rise in single mothers is reality.
