Context: I met this boy at high school. He was in my class for the last two year at school. I hit on him but knew he liked a different girl in my class and we were friendly after that but didn’t message outside of school unless it was school related. He rejected me and it was a bit awkward and first but then it was fine and we parted ways leaving school. Occasionally I’d see him about.
I then posted on social media and he replied to a story after we hadn’t seen each other in a few months asking how comes I hadn’t done my apprenticeship. We have been talking for a few months now and originally he used to reply within a few hours and then replies got to every day or every few days and one message a day each time. However, he still replies with long responses and replies to every sentence and when I do try and make the convo more dry, he will still ask me questions. I don’t want to be rejected again by the same person but I’m just confused. I wanted to straight up asking him but that’s intense
