Guys, what's the one thing you look for when on a date with girl?

I suppose I have a simplistic, naive approach to dating— if I feel that there is a possibility to turn it into a relationship, I will go forward, if not, I withdraw. I've only been on four dates, three of which were just looking for a sucker to get them a meal and had someone already. The only real date, I decided that one date was enough. She seemed way too irresponsible and carefree, like my mother. I was still looking to be a family man.
