I think everyone should pay their way on every date. But if someone is ever short on it then be willing to help. For example, if he/she brought $20 but it ended up being a charge of $25 then the date could at least offer to cover the extra. Now say they brought $20 and the bill on their end along is $200. Nah fck them 🤣 they better go wash dishes. Even if you have the money, they dont deserve the help because they knew the limited money they had

i disagree. i think depends on how it's worded. when i say "hey, let's grab lunch together", it means each will pay their coffee. if i say "i wanna invite you to a dinner" that means i will pay.

We live in an unstable economy that isn't affordable for just 1 person at a nice restaurant. Neither should be left to foot the bill. It should be to pay for your own or each others meal... whatever is agreed upon. That way it shows consideration and if one goes to get the most expensive meal, they pay for their own. So no big loss on either side. This isn't the 1960s where everything is affordable. Got to change with the times
