You bring up a very valid contradiction to the notion that women date men out of their league. If women date men out of their league, then indeed who do the "highest rated" women date? Also... if men date out of their league... in general... that just suggests that he is actually dating in his league (since... he is dating the kind of girl that a guy like him usually dates... so even if she's "better" than him... this is necessarily STILL 'his league.')

So I mean, there's two really simple, logical contradiction to the idea that women date out of their league.

I'm not sure who is making this claim in the first place. But I don't think that this is a widespread belief. I would think, that whoever believes this might have to reconsider their view. It doesn't seem to make any sense.

Yes, it would indeed also have that implication. I think though, that those who hold the belief that women date men out of their league... wouldn't see what you just said as a problem. That, to them, is not a contradiction. They would agree with this particular point.

But think about it... the guys women date are the guys in their league... if this is a widespread thing. If every girl who is a "6/10" dates guys who are an "8/10"... then that IS necessarily "her league." If this is what MOST of these girls end up dating... then it IS their league! Unarguably. By definition... it IS their league (since it's the 'caliber' of guy a girl like her gets... most of the time. This person just misjudges what her league SHOULD be).

I have date physical 10s, but they were not 10/10. I think I am like a 6 or 7 / 10, but I am very much a 10/10 to someone, but then again that someone might be 3/10 to me.

I have not known a real genuine 10/10 in my entire life. So if you are talking about physical 10/10, don't even waste my time. Insecure women or people in general, can't handle genuine confident people... it triggers all their insecurities.

The top men will still date top women, the rest of the women will just end up alone.
It's estimated that half of the women in the US will never find someone and never have kind, by 2030.

Guys may sleep with some girls that aren't in their league but I don't know if they are dating or having a relationship.

Leagues are a defeatist's excuse for failure. Also, I have never seen a 10. Not once in my life. But the vast majority of people I encounter are delusional. Most people are close to average, which on a 1-10 scale is 5.5. I am a 5 on a good day.

@Jamie05rhs I think I use a more realistic scale than most. 1-10 scale, so average is 5.5. Most people are in the 4.5-6.5 range. Only the truly hideous would fall below 3, and only the truly stunning above 8. I have maybe seen a couple of 9's, but never one whom I thought was perfect, which is what a 10 would be.

I define it simply as offering more value than the average person, keep in mind value works on a subjective dial. The person who gives more always has the most leverage.
However, someone can still be high value if they have a flaw/s. Even a girl cast as 3/10 can be a high value woman. Perhaps not the most coveted of the high value women but nevertheless offering more value than the norm. A girl who is 9/10 but has nothing else going for her could still be a high value woman in someones mind; typically the unwise. Great example of the subjective dial. My pencil/pen is worth a lot to a person who needs to sign a 8 figure contract in 2 mins and cannot obtain a pen anywhere else. Leverage. I suppose leverage and neediness (desire) are on a negative correlation scale.
