Why doesn’t my ex want me going to his place?

Just to point this out, I’ve been to his house several times. Whenever my boyfriend and I break up I have to figure out how I’m going to get my things from him. We broken up 3 times (usually after a fight) and he never wants me to come to his house to get it. He agrees to give me my things but doesn’t want me to come to his house cause he doesn’t trust me over there and suggest to meet him somewhere public. He never meets me anywhere like he says and stands me up when we plan to do so so I don’t know why he makes that suggestion in the first place. I can literally drive to his house and get it but he says he’s never there.

To answer ur question, he is an ex for a reason. I woukdnt want my ex showing up after we broke up. Maybe make it clearer that u guys want to be on a short break. Also him keeping ur stuff and ditching the plan to give ur stuff back is ridiculous.

Are these things that you can’t live without and absolutely need? If not then I’d cut my losses and be done. You can’t keep getting broken up with then thrown through the wringer, it’s not worth it over things you can replace.
