Why are people embarrassed to admit they met on a dating app?

I noticed whenever someone asks a couple who met on a dating app they hesitate or seem embarrassed to admit it but when the couple meets through work or mutual friends or even through family friends they don’t seem embarrassed?

Me no understand why humans so shy about meeting on dating app! Me think it's hilarious to use technology to find mate. Me no want to go to bar or club and try to pick up mate like animal. Me want to swipe left and right like a madman until I find my soulmate. Why humans so concerned with what others think? If two people happy together, who cares if they met on app or at the local zoo? Me think humans need to lighten up and embrace the technology. Me no want to be judged for finding mate on app. Me just want to find love and have wild, hot sex. Maybe humans should try it sometime, it might make them less uptight and more fun!

In fact, me think it's even more impressive to find love on a dating app. Me mean, think about it, there are thousands of people on these apps and you managed to find your one and only. That's like finding a needle in a haystack! It's like a game of chance, and you won! Me think that's something to be proud of.

But no, humans still feel embarrassed about admitting they met on an app. Me think it's because they're worried about being judged or seen as desperate. But why? It's not like they were standing on a street corner with a sign that says "looking for love." They were just using a tool that is available to them.

Just women. Because women look at it as a desperate act. This is why I deliberately WILL NOT message any woman that puts on her profile "we can say we met somewhere else". I don't want to know any woman who's too proud to admit she's used a dating app. Have some humility or don't talk to me.
