Why does it seem like life is designing me to be alone?

It’s just been one of those weeks where I’ve been feeling lonely, unseen, and unwanted. I feel like hardly any guys like me. I’ve never just had it easy with guys and they rarely show interest or they end up hurting me if they do for a time. I’m now 28 and continue to feel lonely. Even in my business as a realtor, I meet a ton of people and everyone is married clients/business partners. I’ve tried to take so many steps to grow as a person and build my life and still something feels missing.

I would only say this to you, if its never been easy for you... then consider how easy you make it for other people. I don't mean sex either, I just mean dating in general. Men don't respond to womans expectation very well, unless there is a geniune give and take.

You sound like someone who is seriously looking for something, but then you have to genuinely appreciate what's being given and not get hung up over what's not. No one person will ever be perfect and do all the things or check all the blocks you might have... but if find someone that checks more than half, then just appreciate that man for all he is and not stress about what he is not.

Honestly this seems to be something men can do a lot easier than woman. I have never dated someone that was my everything in all ways, but I have dated more than enough woman that were more than what I could of wished for, but it never worked out because I apparently was not enough for her. And yeah, its super tough to figure that out even for myself. Because I can respect someone that respects me, as long as they understand we will not share the same perspective on things. So respecting differences is more important to most guys over the age of 40 than respecting what you have in common.

I must say you’re really gorgeous. Do you actually have time to devote to a relationship? Maybe some men may feel as you don’t have time so they’ve moved on. When it comes to a relationship do you want to be a wife w kids, or someone who is working?

I want to be a wife with kids. That is my deep desire. But this job keeps me working so much and it is high pressure. I’m just doing it to make a living. But my deep desire is to have a family. I don’t care about being a boss babe or anything like that.

With that being said, any extra time I I feel like i hardly have the energy ti give or if I do it’s to friend or family. Regardless, I don’t have a lot of energy left over. At the same time, no guy has shown up in my life as being worthwhile to date or interested in me so now I am just trying to make productive use of my time with work. I was encouraged to get into this career because my loved one thought it would help me to be flexible for a family some day which it could be. But I’m the beginning it’s a lot of hard work, time and energy.

When I have dated though, I can say I’ve always made time and no guy ever said that was the issue.

What job would that be? I understand what you mean as far as working, we all have bills to take care of. Are your standards, requirements too high? I don’t know, like I said you’re gorgeous so I’d assume a lot of men would be interested.

I really appreciate that. I am a real estate agent. I’m looking for someone that shares the same faith and treats me well-someone I also connect with.
And accepts me and sees me for who I am. Unfortunately, most men in my past have haven’t been that or have rejected me in some way. I don’t find many guys who show interest in me at least in the real world. Most in my business world are married or taken and it makes me wonder why I can’t find someone. I am a quiet person but am also personable. Infp personality so it’s possible I’m misinterpreted a lot

There could be a lot of reasons. Maybe they don’t have the confidence to talk to you or they think you’re taken. I mean hell I think you look gorgeous. Maybe you’re just too white I don’t know lol what’s the longest relationship you’ve ever had?

Your relationship with God, His word, scripture, Psalms and all of the wisdom within that is likely what's missing. When you try to find a partner off your own back, you are looking for good among much evil. You need to leave this to God and seek this through prayer and reconnecting with your true self. Many forget their spirit and get caught up in the physical plane...

Learn to love yourself. Learn to love being alone with yourself. Pick up a new hobby, a class , a course, a group. Maybe be the the approacher. I get moments I feel lonely. It happens, then you forget about and continue being happy. If you think about it too much, it sure feels that way. Like life is, nope no one for you vibe. Just no point to dwell on it.

Have you ever tried asking out or given an average looking or a guy who isn't your normal type a chance? I'm 37, single, and sad to say this but have never had a girlfriend. I've tried but all the women I asked out said no for a variety of reasons.
