Do you prefer beer to whisky, and why?

A lot of bots in this thread... Generally people are half as likely to prefer hard spirits to beer... When they do like hard spirits they definitely have preferences on which type. While Whisky tends to be very popular, Vodka, Rum, Gin, Tequila, and Jägermeister are also very popular strong preferences. That said Beer is always the big winner with men. Wine is the big winner with women. Hard ciders have been pretty popular in recent years with the younger generation as a compliment to beer for variety. It sounds to me like the woke bots are trying to push Jack Off Daniel's as Bud Light gets slaughtered... The problem is, the people already know who's been jacking off in the cask room...

I don't care much for beer. I'll have a porter or a Modelo Negra on occasion. And I don't like the taste of whiskey at all. I prefer wine or mixed drinks made with rum, gin or tequila.

I hardly ever drink but on those few occasions that I do, it would not ever be beer. I can't stand it - the smell, the taste its awful to me.

So, I'll choose whiskey but mixed with a lot of coke or sometimes if I have a cold, I'll put it in hot tea. 🙂

No, I haven't drank beer in many years. If I drink, it is a single malt Scotch, rum, or tequila.

dark beer or IPA. I make a pretty good Old Fashioned with Maker's Mark or Monkey Shoulder and I'll occasionally enjoy a glass of Lagavulin when with special friends. but day to day i'll enjoy my beer.

Whisky. I chase whiskey with a beer and sip on it after. Beer gets me bloated and it's just not necessary! You also have to drink so much more and end up in the bathroom 10 x more lol
