Why do white men darken their skin considerably if they desire a light-skinned partner?

When I was younger and came to know about their efforts to bronze their skin, I used to believe they preferred darker Indian women.

I thought I had to look like this

They still date white women with a caramel skin.

Meanwhile they enjoy being outdoors with white women

So why do Indian women have to stay out of the sun or avoid tanning products or be as pale as possible?

Why do they favour light-skinned women? Is it because they want the private parts to be lighter? Help me understand this.

On Average Women have Ligher-Skin than Men, as Women need more Vitamin D during Pregnancy, so similarly to Height-Gap Some People are taking the difference to More Extreme Level, like Tall Man dating Very Short Woman to feel more Masculine, a Tanned-Skin Man dating a Very Light-Skin Women to feel more Masculine, or in other words Light-Skin Women look more Feminine. You're obsessed with this and not even close to right on most of what you are saying. Well I certainly find some white women very attractive I have always ground brown skinned Indian women very attractive as well as some black women. I think you're letting the cast society the exists in India velour your thoughts which mostly aren't true of Western society.

but for indian guys yea white is better. i think its because they think it makes women look more feminine, dainty and elegant or something, and it makes them look like they have a higher caste or status maybe. and the contrary is associated with being poor, lower caste and more masculine looking? i mean i can't say for sure i'm not indian but i did watch like a documentary about skin bleaching in india and like some vice thing about colorism there

oh wait wait i didn't read your question right, thought you were talking about indian dudes mainly. for white guys i dont think there's a preference for pale indian girls over darker ones. there wouldn't be a reason for that especially that in the west tan is considered more attractive than paleness for girls, so that's probably just view of it. maybe cause your indian and used to the whole light is better thing you might apply that to white guys to kinda

I consider light skin person who is mixed with Hispanic and white or black and white or even just mixed with other things. they're not brown skin or dark skin but light skin where they look kind of like a golden color. I personally like white girls but the skin color doesn't matter to me its just I've always been more attracted to white girls it doesn't mean I don't find other races any less attractive I just like white girls.
