Does that mean I tire them out? What’s your interpretation.

Maybe it means you talk much about different subjects at the same time and all this excitedly? Or you're getting done twice more jobs than them? Or those people are just lazy and want you to slow down? Sometimes a hint of jealousy may not be excluded ;0)

The thing is she had so much energy is that she got bored easy. She never could just relax and sit still without getting all anxious.04 Reply

It probably means they are jealous of how much energy you have. Not a problem.

Psychics aren't real.
Stop watching tiktok if you can't tell reality from fiction. - 11 mo
There is no such thing as psychics (or god), its all made up bs, so if you think any of them are real, then no, you cannot tell when its a fake. This is not my opinion, this is an observable fact. Psychic powers are fictional.
- 11 mo
I wasn't talking about feelings, I was talking about reality.
In reality, things likes gods, souls, afterlife realms, etc, are all fictional. Science has proven that these things are not real, and a person's feelings have nothing to do with that.
- 11 mo
Also saying "not a god, but god" makes no sense. There are over 2,000 religions, all of them are wrong, so don't act like yours is THE religion.
- 11 mo
Science cannot explain many things. Science is not a perfect because it is done by humans, who are not perfect themselves. It cannot measure anything except for facts (physical things) about a person--and we are more than just physical beings. We are humans--with feelings and emotions. Science knows that--but ignores the whole human--and focuses on only the physicality of a human. Yes-- I believe in ONE God, and that is due to my belief. I did not say it was the ONLY religion, nor the "best".
- 11 mo
Actually science is the only thing that can be used to explain anything, the fact that some people do not follow the scientific method (like yourself) does not discredit science, it discredits that person claim.
Perfection is subjective and has nothing to do with the topic, you also don't need to be perfect to understand something, and one of the things science proves is that objective perfection is impossible.
Thoughts and emotions are made of neuron tissue and are powered by electricity. They can degrade or be lost when those are damaged or dead, and that alone proves souls aren't real. Your thoughts and feelings are in fact physical things, they are just very tiny and inside your brain/nervous system. Also energy and physical objects are made of the same stuff. The only difference is mass, which is dictated by varying vibrations.
Your belief doesn't matter when it comes to explaining or understanding anything, what matters is knowledge. Omnipotence is self contradicting and thus impossible, as is a begining to the universe, so a god (an omnipotent being that created everything) cannot have ever existed. - 11 mo
You said yourself that you weren't talking about "feelings", you're talking about "reality", and yet you don't understand that feelings are what make up people's experiences and make us humans. It's like saying you know what ice cream tastes like without actually tasting it. Emotions and feelings are part of the human experience on earth, we're not robots. Science is very limited in that aspect.
Science cannot explain moral judgements, aesthetic judgements, nor anything among the realms of the supernatural. Questions that arise from philosophers, theologians, historians, and the like cannot be answered by science. Those questions—while not understood completely by science—are still important to mankind.
Science can also not explain what happens to us when we die. Neither can we until we do so—but scientists will believe (just like you) that when we die, we simply do this and cease to exist.
However, isn’t it true that we are energy—and that energy can never change in form, nor does not disappear? That is a law of physical science. Being that we have both potential and kinetic energy, that energy will not change form nor disappear.
Science does not believe in people’s souls—something I believe in. Every living thing has a soul. How do you explain feelings to science? Morality? Gut feelings? You can’t—and yet, they exist. Without them we wouldn’t be human.
This is when science is not perfect. Questions that are an important part of the human experience, are not answerable within the context of science. - 11 mo
1. Feelings to not change what is or isn't real. You are trying to say interpretations through senses are the same as your views, you are also trying to say that senses lie, and that the scientific method can't account for it, and neither of those claims is true.
2. Science can explain moral judgements, they are based on self preservation and extentions of that.
3. Science can explain aesthetic judgments (more accurately called aesthetic preferences), genetic mutations and knowledge cause individuals to respond to stimuli differently.
4. Science has verified that supernatural things are not real.
5. Philosophy is just opinions about things.
6. Theologies are beliefs based on fiction.
7. Actual historians use science to examine history, and forensics, archeology, geology, astronomy and paleontology are some examples of that.
8. When you die lots of different things can happen, you could be preserved in some way, eaten by an animal, decompose into the ground, float in space, be revived through medical intervention, be embalmed and buried, or cremated, or buried and fossilized, or disintegrated, or melted, the list goes on and on and on. But aside from preserving to revive the person, the body breaks down and with it the mind. At which point the person ceases to exist as a sentient being. - 11 mo
9. Energy changes forms all the time, especially as mass, whoever told you that energy cannot change form is an idiot. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can ONLY change form, but changing form is WHY we cease to exist upon death, as we become other things as parts of the whole disband. You really need to brush up on your physics laws. 🙄
10. Science does not believe in anything, it is not a sentient entity, let alone a deluded one that relies on beliefs. Science is a method, a tool we use to understand things. Souls were tested for, evidence for their existance was concluded to be negative, and evidence proving souls are impossible was concluded to be positive. For example degenerative brain diseases prove souls aren't real.
11. Feelings are either thoughts or physical sensations, both are enabled by the nervous system.
12. Morality I already explained, gut feelings are just quick thinking about complex issues based on prior experiences, also humans are not the only ones with any of these abilities, these are common mental capacities among most lifeforms, so they are not what make us human, as they are not traits exclusive to humans.
13. Perfection is subjective, and I already explained why talking about perfection is irrelevant.
14. Science is the only actual way to answer questions.
15. Omnipotence being a self contradictory concept and the begining of the universe being impossible proves that god doesn't exist. - 11 mo
In response to your points:
1&2
It doesn’t matter that feelings do not change what is real or not. This is what you wrote: .
Really? That's a first for me. Was there an experiment that proved it? Can you state your resources?
2& 3 No, science cannot judge morality. You say it's based on self-preservation? That is what feelings and beliefs do—not science. Who are you to say what is fiction and what is not?
Science can explain why genetic mutations take place—but they cannot explain aesthetic judgements. Give me an example if that ’s what you think.
4. Science has verified that the supernatural is not real? What experiment was that? Can you quote it? I have hundreds of people who know that there is more to life than out life on earth.
5. Philosophy is not “opinions on things”. You need to take a course or two on it before making that assumption.
- 11 mo
6. Theologies are not beliefs based on fiction. They are based on history—which is very real.
7. Yes—historians use science to study all those things including data—forensics, etc. That’s how they get their knowledge about when something happened. What’s your point? I never said the opposite.
8 and 9. At death the physical body breaks down and decomposes—and the spirit of the person or the soul—does not die, but continues. Energy cannot die and neither can the soul. We ARE energy — that energy cannot die. Where that energy goes is into another realm which we cannot see on earth.
10. Souls were tested? In what experiment? State your resources. Really now—that sounds absurd. That is what science cannot explain—and yet we all have souls. Science can only collect data and observe, make conclusions. Besides that, it can’t do diddly squat about anything else.
- 11 mo
PS--I am not discrediting Science. I am saying it is not perfect. You on the other hand--believe it is--there are plenty of articles showing what science cannot do. I believe in science--I thinking it is helpful to mankind. But it cannot do everything---because science can only base things on what they see and can observe happening. There is the saying that "There is more than meets the eye" --and that is very true.

1&2: Yes, Really. Most experiements. Everyday living, and most scientific publications.
2&3: Again, science is a method, it has no opinions, just results. Yes, its based on self preservation, and yes, science proves it's based on that, and it proves emotions are part of biology, and that they not reality changers/breakers, as in how you feel does not impact whats true or false in an objective sense. Aestethic judgement examples are sexual selection, disease aversion, and injury aversion. Individuals' genetics also govern all preferences.
4: It's not one experiment, it's many observations and experiments. There is no evidence for souls or afterlife, and plenty of medical conditions like dementia prove they are not real. Religious stories, beings/dieties, etc, have no evidence, and the laws of physics, as well as natural history evidence, debunks pretty much all of them. Omnipotent beings and creationism are proven impossible because of them being self contradicting concepts. Learn biology, astronomy, paleontology, archology, geology, chemistry, physics, etc.
5: Philosophy is just opinions, I already took a course on it, it was stupid.
6: No, they are based on fiction, again, learn what I suggested above, actual history debunks those beliefs.
7: Actually your entire argument is you just saying the opposite.
8&9: You have a very big misconception about what thoughts, energy and matter are, and what they can do. Matter is just engergy vibrating differently. Thoughts are biological, your "soul" IS your nervous system, you do not have a ghost like part if you, no one does, and if we did, and you could prove they existed, they would outnumber life on earth googleplex to one.
10: Souls/ghosts/spirits cannot exist, because again, degenerative brain diseases, head injuries, etc, they all show that once the body goes, the mind crumbles.
You obviously have zero grasp of reality or what scientific method even is. - 11 mo

I think this conversation is done, I am agreeing to disagree with you on all aspects of your answers, mostly because you don’t understand my views when I say humans are much more than flesh and blood. We have souls and spirits and science can never that due to
It’s nature. But in all your arrogance and failure to understand, I hope someday something happens that will have you open your eyes more and not be so blind. Good luck. - 11 mo
I understand your views, I just acknowledge they are self contradictory, all over the place, and full of nonsense. I refuted your views, said they are incorrect (because they are), and you don't like that because you are afraid of knowledge that refutes anything that you want to be true (which blinds you to reality).
- 11 mo
Also science can be used to measure anything that is measurable, and it can be used to determine whats not measurable. No other method can do either of those.
- 11 mo
Im not ignorant. I know exactly what science can do. My nephew is a scientist, a virologist. He helped develop the vaccine for shingles. I’ve told you science is great tool for mankind. It also cannot measure what you do not care to believe in, whether you have faith in God, believe in a soul, or so ion. You have no resource back up for studies you mentioned proving there is no God,, which by the way I found ridiculous because no one I’ve spoken to has heard about these studies. You have no basis nor reference for your studies and research.
Science is limited in that aspect, and you can’t deny what science can’t see does not exist. If it were not for God, there would be no science because God put us here to begin with. God is real. Jesus Christ was and us real. There is proof of that in studies and researches done on the Shroud of Turin, and in miracles happening in churches when the host has fallen.
But if that doesn’t interest you because of your lack of faith, then consider yourself lost.

I would take it as such.
