So in April, he canceled on our third date. His parents had to work late the Friday night before so I didn’t get a chance to meet them. He said he had to think about some things and he wasn’t happy with the fact that I introduced him to my family after warning him that their racist. That was Saturday the next day.
I only introduced him to the ones that aren’t racist. He had to talk to me when he drove me home and said I set him up for humiliation because of knew most of my dads side of the family is racist and they insulted him and yelled at me for darkening our family up.
I told him I’m sorry about my families behavior and I really do like him and forget their opinions. He told me he thinks I used him to get back at my family. He was a bit hurt because he really likes me. I was shocked. That wasn’t true. After he dropped me off, I told him I’ll see him at work and he gave me a cold, “Yeah…. bye.” He’s half Native American and half white. I’m white.
He hasn’t texted me since and avoided me at work. I said hi to him and he coldly said hey and gave me the cold shoulder. Two days later at work he canceled our third date because he had to think about if he should move to the next date with me. I was worried he’s going to see some else. I didn’t use him and I kept telling him. I really do like him.
What do I do? We were seeing each other for a while. Then later, he told me bluntly it was better if we didn’t see each other anymore and he did not see us going on a third date or being in a relationship because i embarrassed and used him. I didn’t I really liked him! I’m so done dating. He’s 23 and I’m 20.
Most of my coworkers dislike me for breaking his heart.
I’m not going to lie it was nice having a man taller than me for once. He’s 6’3” and I’m 6’0” but that’s not what this is about. It’s been two months and I wanna try again.

To me he has made it pretty clear that you are not.

I didn’t talk to him for a whole month and I wanted to see if we wanted to try again but I’m afraid too ask him. My coworker told me two weeks ago when I sadly look at him, “If you’re thinking about working things out with him or dating, you’re wasting your time. He’s better of with a woman that would love him and not use him so your pathetic racist family can shun him. You should be ashamed of yourself.” Man she knew how to make someone feel awful.
