Is it normal for people to lie about their age on dating apps?

Is this ok? I think it is fine as long as that person tells you the truth once you start talking, I dont know. What do you think? What is normal? the normal standard

Some do. But it's been my experience that the majority of women lie about thier pics while honest about thier age. Go look at women's profiles on a dating app. For some reason every woman over 40 looks 25.😆😆😆

If I ever lie on a dating app it's a lie of omission. I'm not going to lie about my age. But I might not volunteer any more information than I have to about something. Because as a guy you know women are very judgmental and you learn very quickly as a guy the less you say the better. The less you say the less she has to judge you negatively on. Because when a woman likes you she'll want to keep that going unless you give her a reason not to. So it's just common sense to not give her a reason to.

I don’t know but lying is stupid if you intend on meeting I tell the truth here and don’t exaggerate I even share secrets I like many people here and I hope that they would not lie about age here or anywhere else

Babes it's not a good thing to lie in the beginning. People lie about race, height, weight and age in online world and specially in dating apps. Can't trust those people
