Is the “friendzone” actually bad? Dont some relationships start out as the guy and girl just being friends?

Look bro... yes ALL relationships usually start off as a friendship of some sort.

But... if you are stuck in the friendzone it means that she doesn't find you to be an adequate partner to date. Perhaps she needs more time to get to know you or maybe she's doesn't know you are interested. It doesn't matter... but get out of the friendzone. Let her know your intentions if you are feeling her. If she rejects you, you can definitely be her friend but don't simp. NO SIMPING!!

The fact that this is even a thing shows how many toxic women there are anymore. I simply cannot respect a woman that would use the rationale, "I've known him to long and I don't want to jeopardize the friendship". Because if such a thing ruins your friendship, you never had a friendship to begin with.

I think the majority of women today are very immature and quite frankly do not understand what a loving committed relationship entails.

Lol , at times the friendzone can be a difficult place to stay in , given that you have feelings for the other party. In most cases it becomes a permanent place of residency if not communicated well. I have always thought that , if you like someone , tell them how you feel about them and they stay knowing. Its up to you if you can stomach both staying friends or hoping for a better future where you are lovers.

Yes, but the term is generally not used in that way. It is usually used to mean the guy or girl is into the other person and is hoping that there will be a grand realization, but the other person does not consider the relationship as being potentially romantic.
