4 years isn’t that much to bother most people, but that would depend on your background. In many cultures it’s almost like a rule that the female has to be younger or at the very least the same age as the male partner. A lot of it also depends on age. If the girl is 22 and the boy is 18 there may be some significant differences in lifestyle things which make you incompatible. If the girl is 36 and the boy 32 there should be issues as both are likely to be mature

Umm personally I don't find it a problem. I liked a girl who was like 5-6 years older too bad she was from a rich family. My father's friend and so, my father stopped me saying her family will think I am a gold digger.
She is still single and I am not happy. God I wish she was born in a different family and then see what excuse I would get. Sadly this is just one lifetime worth of ordeal.

And the saddest thing, her fiance left her hanging on the marriage day. He was a bastard who used to beat her and treat her like a trash.
