So I have often said that this saying is not true, but the more I date the more I believe that Nice Guys don't always finish last, and they definitely shouldn't, but they do because Nice Guys but themselves in these boxes all the time, and their women walk all over them.

So eventually every man at some point grows a set a ball, or remembers that he still has a set... but nice guys win all the time, but they have to make women earn it, because guess what? These women are not giving it away for free. But men do all the time, and when they do not have to earn it from you, then they never appreciate it or respect it.

@coachtanthony Hey what's up coach. Should they finish last? I don't know because it depends on what you mean by nice guys. The real nice guy should finish first on morals but life is more than about morals. But certainly the nice guy will have a better shot than a mean person. A mean person might appear sometimes to do well but life always brings us to where we actually belong sooner or later.

I think there's a big misconception about nice guys being pushovers. Being nice is diferente from being submissive.

Some nice guys are submissive due to low self-esteem, many nice guys aren't submissive. Women often think nice guys are submissive, truth is many of them aren't submissive at all.

Untill recently most women used to like and prefer nice guys, look at the actors women were attracted to in the 1940's, 50's and 60's and they were mostly nice guys, at least that was the image they projected to the public.

I voted yes because of the way the question is asked. Being nice has no standing on the things you earn or deserve being nice is a character trait and a choice that should be made not based on a desire for reward. If you are being nice expecting something in return you're not really being nice you're just being manipulative. I'm not saying our poster is being manipulative by any means just that people who often say "nice guys finish last" are. Please be kind just to be kind

Nice guys finish last until women marry or have kids with some douche bag, learn the hard way, and finally pull their head out of their ass in their 40's. I try to always be a good person but I'm not nice to most people anymore, too many take kindness for weakness.

As much as nice women should.

I understand a guys frustration when it comes to dating. But if a woman cannot see how awesome you are it's really not a loss if she's not feeling you. Because if she can't see your awesomeness she's really not a good woman now is she. But what does get tiring is hearing women complain that there are no good men after passing up one good man after the next. I don't care if she passes on a 100 good men. Just don't complain about it after she does.

It's not "nice" guys who finish last--it's WEAK guys who finish last. Far, far, FAR too many people conflate "nice" guys and weak guys. And yes--weak guys SHOULD finish last. There are literally billions of years of evolution that stand behind that idea.
