I called him out for ignoring my texts, now he leaves me on "delivered" yet he is still responding to calls/snap, etc. just not text. Why?

I think he may be trying to tell you that you text him too much. I don't agree with his method, but he may be right about the volume of your texting, or what you are using texting for.

If you want to have a whole conversation, you need to call him. Texts are generally for communicating small pieces of information or asking simple questions.

"Just left Doug's, will be there in 20 minutes."

Or

"What time is the party on Saturday?"

You have to understand that men's brains don't work like yours - we aren't natural multitaskers so we can't do anything else when we are texting, and if we are constantly being interrupted with texts, we can't get anything else done - including rest. Women are far better at task switching and managing interruptions than men are.

So why didn't he answer your messages.. what did you do before that or better what happend ( not saying you did something )

What did you called him out for? Yelling, cursing, calling him names...

prob. not a big texter. i wouldn't even text him on snap. i hate snap anyway, there's no point in the app, just another way to "make money"

Why are you assuming he is toxic? We have a couple of data points, not nearly the entire story, certainly not enough to make those kinds of judgments.

I read it. We have one sentence of information that's clearly from her point of view, and ZERO information about the guy's point of view. That's no where near enough information to make such a judgement.

I also QUESTION it, but that doesn't mean that I immediately jump to a conclusion that he's an awful guy. I've had WAY too many people who cherry-picked a few facts that make them look sympathetic while purposely ignoring the facts that make it obvious that they are really the problem.

I'm not saying that's the case here, but we don't have nearly enough information to draw a conclusion.

If you let people control your thoughts and feelings with a headline or a soundbite, without being skeptical and wanting to know more before you make a decision, you will be super easy to manipulate and evil people will manipulate you into doing things that are against your own self-interest, and that's dangerous, for you and for everyone else.

No, like we were texting just fine for months. Then he was really busy and I jokingly said "stop ignoring my text, I see you read them." Now he just leaves me on delivered... for DAYS! Yet he is still answering my calls or replying to snap, liking facebook pics, etc.
