No, I don't agree. Thats way to narrow of a definition. You are ruling out men who are simply using her for sex. Perfectly mentally sound men who are highly dissatisfied in the relationship and would have left if not for the kids, etc.

I know it would be easy to cast away all men who cheat as having issues, but thats just to simplistic of a scapegoat. It can simply be their intent to cheat for a number of different reasons. You have to find a man who is truly loyal at heart and loves you deeply, not just one that lacks a mental issue.

Unless it was rape. Someone who cheats chose to do it. They aren’t worthy of marriage. If someone’s a cheater and genuinely repents. God can forgive them. Deliver them from it. And find them someone amazing.

People who can't stay faithful need to just accept that they should not be in a relationship and expect that from their partners. I think it's probably not normal to have 1 partner and we all live by those strange ideas. For the most part we get it right but if you know you one of those people that will mess around my best advice is go it alone get use to the fact that you need to be alone so you can do whatever you want. It's really horrible to find out your partner is messing around...

It depends on the person - cheating can be just a one-time event, a planned thing to happen regularly with one or many different people, or just a change of heart. But it is not related to mental issues. It's more of a choice. Because we always have options, and sometimes people choose the easiest way.

I've always maintained that there are two different scenarios relating to extramarital infidelity, and the degree to which an affair affects the relationship, as well as the possible benefits it may provide depend upon whether the woman has a boyfriend on the side or the guy is being unfaithful. I know the double standard probably drives people crazy, but I honestly think that a woman's indiscretions are far less harmful than a guy's, and I'm equally certain that the fairly frequent trysts she engages in with her boyfriends are ultimately a boon to their lifelong love affair with one another.

No question bias there at all. 😂 Relationships are complicated, and people do change, both for better and worse. At the end of the day ‘cheating’ is driven by disappointment and lack of fulfillment, which can be from either internal or external factors. Blanket value judgments are difficult to make.
