Like i get it, you like tall men, i get it and i understand it, but why only tall men?

Men have an ego when it comes to how attractive their girlfriend is. A man who's with a gorgeous woman will feel like he's 'won' and get proud over that. Often, women are the same way about height. The taller the guy, the more she's won.
A woman will feel that way when she's having to get on her tippy toes to kiss him, or walking in public with him, or feeling his long arms hold her tight in bed. She'll feel like she's bagged a really impressive person. Unfortunately for short guys, height plays a part in how happy she is in the relationship. If a guy is with an ugly girl, other guys will pity him. Same thing happens with a woman who has a shorter boyfriend.
Everyone wants a tall guy, everyone wants a pretty girlfriend. If you get it you'll love it and if you don't, you'll feel embarrassed about it. That's coming from someone who dated a 5'5" guy. He may be a fantastic person but that embarrassment still lingered
I have been out of the dating world for a long time, but for me, height was never an issue. I’m 5’3, and I was interested in a guy that was shorter than me at one time.
I know some women have a preference for a taller man. But is it really as prevalent as so many men here suggest?
It doesn't HAVE to be tall men. My cousin was married and had two kids with his now ex wife, he's dating someone new now, that has three kids of her own. But, he's shorter than me, and I'm only 5'8". A girl likes me, and she's basically either just as tall or even taller than me.
It's just, a lot of women would PREFER him to be taller.
I've raised the question on my profile, if women want guys to be the taller ones, then why are women the ones who wear heels, and not men
Heels cause the legs to bend, and the buttocks to curve out, making it appear larger, and the legs to look longer, so, why shouldn't men be the ones wearing them, if women want tall (er) men?

We aren’t… We talk talk talk about our preferences and then fall for someone totally opposite.
So, don’t be discouraged by what we say.
Honestly? They probably haven't matured yet (and yes I realize there are 40 yr. Old women that still do this)😆. Everyone has their "preferences" when they're young. But then you realize Good people come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Maybe some you'd never considered before? Some women unfortunately never wake up to this. They make their dating pool unnecessarily tiny. And then they get mad at all men for it (that's the funny part to me).😆
I wouldn't worry about it man. The only people these women hurt is themselves in the end.
I would say that women are actually like that.. I mean I used to work security at a museum and probably seen hundreds of couples walk through those revolving doors.. I've seen a lot of homely looking guys with nice looking women.. Women are much more "forgiving" in real life.. In fact most preferences don't really account for anything in the grand scheme of things simply because you never know who you'll connect with and get attracted to.
What are you talking about? Both men and women often focus on their preferences, yet date people who do not strictly fit them. This is because they are preferences - not requirements.
I would say women only do it more than men, since there are more men who are desperate than women. However, most women are like most men in this regard. We care about chemistry the most.
Put the generalization away. If a girl dumped you because you are not tall enough it's her decision, not the preference of all women.

Most women would not marry a man that is short because she does not feel protected and feminine around him, and therefore he is not attractive to her.
Same thing with men. If a woman has an ugly face he will not find her attractive.
It is basic biology, get over it. I had to get over having an ugly face and being undesireable to men. You have to get over being short and being undesireable to women.
And there are women who can and will like short guys. I am one of those women myself, the problem is not even short men want me because of my ugly face.
That'll only apply if you're trying to pick up a random girl that wasn't interested from the beginning. I'm short, 5'5" and dating isn't a problem. Are there females that reject me because of my height? Yes, but there are plenty that look past my height.
Have some personality, be confident , humorous, genuinely kind and socially adaptable.
