What to do if a man's quite close face-to-face but does not text/call every single day?

We met 2 months ago but he broke up w/ last girlfriend 3 months ago.. he says its too early to start a relationship in 2 months.. We have been flirting but im curious if i understand wrong? He's quite flirty, kind, cheerful face-to-Face but he doesn't text me like "hey what u doin" While apart.. im sad about it.

Ah man, this situation can definitely be confusing. On one hand, he seems into you when you're together since he's flirty and nice. But the lack of texts between meeting up is sending mixed signals for sure.

A few things could be going on:

- He may still be getting over his last breakup fully, so isn't ready to fully commit yet even if he likes you. Give him more time maybe.

- Or he could just be one of those guys that doesn't like constantly being "on" texting all the time. Lots of dudes aren't big texters.

- It's also possible he's seeing other people too and isn't ready to focus fully on you. But you wouldn't know without talking to him.

My advice would be to chill for now, but also start putting yourself out there more too so you're not left waiting on this dude. And definitely have a real conversation with him about where you both see things going, so you're on the same page. Good communication is key! If he's still send mixed signals after that, you'll know to maybe keeplookin. But don't lose hope - stay positive!

If you are really interested in a long term relationship, let him know you are interested but also give him the space he needs to morn his lost relationship. I know this may not be easy but it is also a respect thing. And a worthwhile investment into a great long term relationship. If he likes you he will come around and start texting and showing more interest in you daily routine. Unfortunately it could go the other way, but that is always a risk.
