Delusion or fact - men age like wine?

Im on the last chapter of a book im reading... Book 24 of the Iliad... a 3000 year old drama. And a line stood out to me: "he was a young man, the age when the beard first sprouts. The most handsome age for a man". In other words he was like 18

100% delusion. Collagen production in men declines even faster than it does in women. The only saving grace men have is giving birth requires a much more youthful body than spreading seed. But at the same time being a youthful man still requires just as much youth. I don't see how anyone who isn't blinded by money would say OLD MEN are more attractive.

It depends entirely on the man. People who say things like that tend to think of men who aged very well, not the average man.

I have a friend who could easily get college aged girls well into his 50s. He didn't approach them, they approached him.

I have another friend the same age as the first one. When he was young he was a womanizer. Before 50 he had two heart attacks, and quadruple bypass surgery. He smoked both cigs and weed every day. He drank a lot. He got no exercise. He was over weight. Quite frankly, he looks like shit.

The above two people are the same age. They were in high school together. But they look like they are at least 20 years difference in age.

only at least sort of good looking guys who still stay skinny/fit, groom themselves well and dress well. and that's just up to a certain point. like if you have a hot face and have abs and stuff at 40 you're still very fuckable obv. but if you're 60 umm... you can be elegant and good looking but no one's gonna want to fuck you though

In terms of physicality men don't age too much better than women.. But what men lose in the physical they gain everywhere else..

To a certain point it can be, but I think it's more that women love stability and a comfortable lifestyle.. Older men usually have that for them..

Yeah, I definitely agree with that one.. But you know a lot of people won't see much of anything wrong with that.. Because Women's standards are always justified somehow..
