Wife response: I would say so. My now husband asked me out 3 times. First time I was embarrassed and thought he was joking. Second time I thought he was just being silly. 3rd time I realized he was serious. Our first date was amazing. We went for a walk and we talked for hours and hours. As it got a bit later in the day he led me to the beach where he had a picnic already set up with candles. All of the food was made by him. I had no idea how he set it all up (should have guessed he had a friend bring everything down) we watched the sunset while eating and talking. And then he walked me home ensuring I got home and inside safely. It felt like it was only a few hours but we had been together for 7 and a half hours. To say I was head over heels in love was an understatement. He did manage to top that date though with his marriage proposal

Yes, we drove out to the western part of the state to see Gordon Lightfoot perform. It was in an outdoor venue and we had a picnic lunch. It was pretty awesome.

Hmm a few months ago, it was amazing… he made me laugh and felt butterflies throughout the whole date. He made me remember what butterflies felt like since my last relationship lol. Other than that… my last ex, we had a perfect first date as well. He was very romantic and we were literally falling in love lol. Even our server made a comment about it lol.
