Can I date a 31 year old man?

Question

I am 41, but have been told that I look a bit younger (like 30s). A 31 year old man ask me out? He is a cute. At my age, 10 years is not too much of an age gap is it?

Yes you can , age doesn’t really matter when you meet someone that you have a lot of chemistry and connection with , and you are both attracted to each other , Age is just a number at that point , I don’t really hold age as a deciding factor like most people tend to do , to me they are just limiting themselves of actually meeting someone that might be amazing to them , I dated younger an older girls ‘ some of the younger girls’ I dated were more mature than the older girls I dated so that’s why I don’t let age ruin a good thing. I like to think I am wise enough not go after a girl that is under legal age of consent , let alone I had young girls hit on me , but I draw the line if she isn’t legal.

Does the man know you actual age? If he knows that and he asked you for a date, I say "go for it!" If he doesn't know your age, it would be wise to tell him instead of him learning about that three weeks from now.

I am 69 years old and my fiancee is 60. At your age, 10 years is not insignificant but it's not a huge difference, either.

I don't know why grown adults worry so much about age gaps. If you're both over 18 or whatever the age of consent is in your state, then who the hell cares? Make up your own mind. The only stares you're going to get is from miserable old spinsters who can't handle that either men their age are going for younger women or women their age are able to attract younger men. Take their misery as a badge of pride.

Tens years difference isn’t all THAT crazy after your 20s. It’s just two totally separate ballgames once you live in the real world for a while and age perspective isn’t completely based off of “who would go to my school at the same time as me?”😂

Yes you can, personally I wouldn't myself I like single digit age difference honestly but nothing against 10. I do believe there is a limit to age difference but 10 isn't it. And 10 years is especially not as big of a deal with your ages you both are fully adult mentally.

Nothing wrong with 10 years of difference.
Get to know one another, learn whether you are in the same page, have the same goals and desires, where you stand in life.
You'll figure out along the way whether or not you two are a good match.
Don't let your age decide that for you.

Age dosent matter when your over 30. No harm in pursuing him. Just make sure you both have same ambitions in life. If either of you do or don't want kids that needs to be clear as you're running out of time
