I'm going on a date tomorrow with someone who is not my type. I've already told her that I'm only interested in meeting up as friends. So I hope it goes well and I don't hurt her feelings.

Well, you weigh more than me lol…I’m about 163 lbs rn. I used to be the same weight as you but I lost some weight. I don’t lift at all though so a lot of it is probably body fat, I’m about 25% body fat I think.
Im a lot taller thats not surprise i weight more 😅
That’s fair…look here’s the thing…typically dating a woman heavier or stronger than me would be a dealbreaker…and on dating apps it would be, but I’m not gonna say there’s zero exceptions IRL. For example, if I met someone like you IRL, initially I might be intimidated but if I really liked your personality and I felt like there was mutual attraction, I’d give it a shot.

Well the problem with dating apps is that you only see what they look like…they have height listed but they don’t have weight listed…so if a girl looks substantially heavier than me, I’d probably swipe left because I’d have no way of verifying her weight before I met her because a lot of girls would get triggered if I asked that…

Jokes aside, all these dating apps and stuff promise people something or in this case someone they cannot achieve. People are trying to choose themselves as if they were buying a new dishwasher. I don't think people will get more flexible with their standards. In fact, they'll get harder to please day by day.

My goal is to meet someone who loves me but I don’t. I have tried to love someone but men hate it, they like someone who don’t like them. They chase someone who they can’t get, once they know that they can get a girls heart, they move on.

I don't consider myself to have a 'type' because when I reflect upon archives of my dating portfolio there is what I consider to be adequate diverification.
Why would I date someone who isn't my type? I have been with someone who was perfect for me before and it was the best experience I ever had. I would never be that happy with someone I wouldn't truly love.
That said, looks wise I don't need a model I find a lot of girls pretty. Its the personality that makes my type rare and hard to find. But when I find a girl like that its absolutely incredible.
Hmmm if given the chance I would date someone who wasn't my type. They might be an awesome person to be around who knows. At worst it's dating experience for me.

I have dated most guys I wasn’t really attracted to. So far I dated 1 attractive guy that lasted a few months. Hopefully in the future I’ll meet “my type” of guy.
I dated 4 guys, only 1 was completely my type. The only bad thing about him was he was younger and immature.

Yes. I have dated many women who weren’t my type but i was attracted and had a decent relationship with them. Sometimes, you don’t get what you want but you get what you need.
